Grabers in Pinecraft || Myakka State Park

We spent Tuesday visiting Myakka State Park to catch a glimpse of some alligators.

But not before a daily bike ride!

On the way there, we had a flat.  Bummer - DH and grandpa changed to the spare
and found a tire repair shop - they missed the alligators.

The nature perserve was very beautiful.  Joe said he felt like we were in Africa - we could relate to what he meant at times!  We joked about giraffes coming out at any time.

We could see many varieties of birds and lots of alligators.

It was hot this day - and there was an alligator behind me on that bank.  We loved the river tour, seeing over 50 alligators.

After Myakka park we enjoyed a meal at Linger Lodge - their sign was made from snakes!  Tons of animals hanging everywhere.

DH took Sam to the driving range to test out his new clubs from Christmas.
Sam loved it.

Two of my guys!!
